Substitution
2016 Conference Theme
At Games for Health Europe, We believe that healthcare innovation is about generating value by replacing or improving elements of existing integrated care pathways. Serious or applied games and apps offer great opportunity and methods for achieving this.
To implement games and apps in healthcare your application should meet the following requirements:
• Your game or app should offer a substitution or improvement of existing elements within a care pathway;
• Your game or app should contribute to lower or equal costs for healthcare;
• And should deliver improvement in terms of efficiency, efficacy, safety, adherence, compliance and/or quality of life.
During the 2016 edition of Games for Health Europe Conference we will focus on success stories and lessons to be learned when implementing serious games and apps. GFHEU 2016 is about action For those striving for success, like us, the Games for Health Europe Conference is a platform for the exchange of ideas, experiences and lessons learned. For those who have been successful, we offer a platform to share successes with others in order to become even more successful. This year there will be more workshops than ever before and far fewer regular 'lectures'. We’ll be so focused on doing that this year’s summary becomes an action movie.
